What a romp!!

Look out Stephanie Plum here comes Bobbie Faye Sumrall! Bobbie Faye is one of the best characters to come along in a while and in this debut novel, you quickly become a fan. Bobbie Faye will have you laughing from the beginning of this book to the end. Her adventure will leave you breathless and begging for more.

I am very anxious to see what Bobbie Faye will be getting into in her next adventure.

Laugh-out-loud funny!

I rarely find books that not only make me laugh, but make me truly laugh out loud, many, many times. BOBBIE FAYE is one of the funniest books I've read in years. It's a fabulous Southern caper comedy, filled with action, adventure, mystery, and romance. Truly something for everyone! Read, and enjoy! (And you absolutely should check out the book trailer!)

A satisfying Cajun caper

This book is a hoot and a holller, a helluva good time, and pitch-perfect for pure delight. Causey serves up a sumptuous offering of rich Southern trailer-park cuisine in the name of Bobby Faye, sexy and sassy high-heeled trouble, so spicey-good you'll want seconds and thirds.

Keep it coming, writer-girl. Feed your addiction by feeding us these crazy, saucy Cajun tales that we'll feast on like underfed beasts, forgetting manners and morals.

Dear reader, if you want unbridled rollercoaster entertainment that careens and shrieks along a curvaceous hellbent track, then this is the book for you -- 4 1/2 stars for unrestrained and sinfully satisfying action.

Must read Bad Day & Family Jewels

Fun & hysterical.....as soon as I finished it I went straight to my local BN to buy Family Jewels which is proving to be even better. Bobbie Faye will make you laugh out loud so anyone around will think you are nuts...or want to steal your book so they can have fun!

Bobbie Faye Sumrall knows that a day without disaster is a day in someone else's life. Criminals have kidnapped her good-for-nothing brother and are demanding her Contraband Queen tiara--the only thing of her mama's she inherited--as random. So Bobbie Faye has to outwit the police, organized crime, former boyfriends, and a hostage she never intended to take (but who turns out to be damn sexy!), in order to rescue her brother, keep custody of her niece, and get back in time to take her place as Queen in the Lake Charles Contraband Festival (think Mardi Gras, with more drinking and pirates).  Luckily, Bobbie Faye knows how to handle guns, outsmart angry mama bears, drive a speedboat, and get herself out of--and into--almost every kind of trouble. If only that pesky state police detective (who also happens to be a pissed-off ex-boyfriend) would stay out of her way . . . "Bobbie Faye is a true original and Toni McGee Causey a true talent!"
--Melissa Senate, author of See Jane Date and Love You To Death "I love Bobbie Faye's Very (very, very, very) Bad Day by Toni McGee Causey. The tears are still running down my cheeks from laughing. Oh, my. What talent. What verve. What NERVE!"
--Gayle Lynds, New York Times bestselling author of The Last Spymaster
