I would much rather read Please Listen by Carrie Vanlandingham.

While this was an okay book, I have read better. I love a fast paced plot and a storyline that really moves and this just didnt do it for me. If you want a good teen/young adult novel, I would read Please Listen by Carrie Vanlandingham any day of this book, I have read it over and over and over.....Again. Enough said. I read this once and I'm done.

Eclipse (The Twilight Saga, Book 3)

I loved it. Eclipse made me so anxious to read the last book, Breaking Dawn, that I ordered it before I was through with Eclipse. Also, for the first time, I really looked at Jacob as a rightful rival to Edward. BUT, I love Edward and the Cullens. Meyer filled this book with intrigue, love, passion, hate; every emotion known to man. By the way, I am a great-grandmother in my sixties, so it's not just for the young.

Good read if you consider the target audience

One of the overwhelming things I've noticed about what people say regarding this series of books is that nothing Bella does is "logical", it doesn't "make sense", and she acts "stupid". Not to mention that her relationships with Edward and Jacob are extremely unhealthy. Though I can agree with those standpoints from an adult perspective, step back for one second and consider the age group these books are intended for. And how old are you? Chances are, you're not a teeny bopper anymore, but you enjoy your guilty pleasure read every now and then. You're a grown adult with life experience trying to read someone thinking at the teenage level and it's irritating, I get it. But logic and sanity is not the name of the game in these books; for goodness sake, they're about fictional creatures! Try to think back to when you were a teenager-surely you did stupid things and may have even had an unhealthy relationship thrown into the mix (though perhaps not quite so dramatic as Edward and Bella). Teenagers can be extremely unpredictable, moody, and obsessive (just ask any parent of a teenager)- so why can't Bella, Edward (perpetually stuck as a teenager), and Jacob? When I picked up this series, I was not expecting Jane Austen or Anne Rice quality- it was simply a guilty pleasure read.

To sum up, here is my two cents: the Twilight series is a great read in general; it keeps the suspense going and there's a difference flavor to each book that I enjoy. That said, there are some things that are annoying (Bella's verbose descriptions about Edward, for example), but I tend to look past those in an effort to see the effects of the whole picture. This series is an excellent escape from reality.

Incredible!! Thats is just the word for it!

Great book, even for people like me who don't really like the whole vampire thing!

Readers captivated by Twilight and New Moon will eagerly devour Eclipse, the much anticipated third book in Stephenie Meyer's riveting vampire love saga. As Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge, Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob --- knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella has one more decision to make: life or death. But which is which?
