Great reference book when scanning!!
This book gives you the real picture of the
anatomy
along with the scanning image that goes with it. I love it! (Even though it doesn't fit in one's
pocket
)It helps alot with scanning.

I bought this book to help me prepare for the CT registry. It is fantastic! Not only for studying for the registry, but just to have as a reference. It is a little bigger than "pocket size", but relatively small & easy to keep as a reference at work. For each anatomy slice illustrated, there is a photograph of an actual cadaver slice with almost everything numbered/labeled -- muscles, all vascular structures, etc., etc. Then, the facing page has a slice from an imaging modality (MR or CT) with a line drawing right next to it so you can find the structures more easily. There is also a drawing showing at what level of the body the section is taken from. I love, love, love this book.
