Can you say Real Housewives on Bravo?

I typically like the work of TuShonda Whitaker. However, this was not original at all. You can see the stories outlined in this book each and every week on Bravo. I was very disappointed.

Reality Check!

MWC was a great read! Four divas on camera but in reality were four tragedies in the making. Some more then others. Evan, Milan, Chaunci, and Jaise are a group of "friends" on the new hit reality show, The Millionaire Wives Club. Problem is some are not even millionaires, some can't control their child, and one of them is just plan crazy! But the one person that seem like they wanted to be apart of the action was the director/producer Bridgett, who should have got her but kicked for her rude and pushy actions. But it was Milan's stupid and funny husband Da Truef that really needs his own show!

Tu-Shonda Whitaker made me feel like I was watching a real show on DVD with all the extras they couldn't show on TV! This was a great read! Can't wait for Season 2!

Get it from the library

I had placed this book on hold at the library after reading the description on Amazon.
I`m glad I got this from the library and didn't buy it as I had originally wanted to do. The book was okay and there didn't seem like there was really a plot to the story. The characters were all over the place and I couldn't get what the point of the book really was. The storyline was okay but there seem as though she left the characters, plot and purpose of the book open so that it could go wherever it wanted to go. I understand that the book was to showcase them having a reality show and that it was to showcase their lives but there was no plot at all. The book really didn't get good until the end when Evan was shown for her true colors. I think that book would have turned out better if she would have just written it as a book about millionaire wives and not added the part of them being on TV. Then she could write more on what happened to Evan as a child and the whole saga between Milan and Kendu. This kind of reminded me of a show that comes on Bravo but just more dramatic. I would suggest that if you want to read this book go and get it from the library and don't buy it. I think there might be a part two.

Awesome

This book had me cracking up from beginning to end! Their was comedy, their was drama, and then their was the last page. :-(
Can't wait for the next one.
Good Job!!

In Tu-Shonda L. Whitaker?s steamiest novel yet, we meet the four deliciously dramatic, designer-clad divas from prime time?s new hit reality show, The Millionaire Wives Club.

Evan: Married to a pro-football star who isn?t in love with her anymore, Evan is digging her freshly manicured nails in ever deeper as she fights to keep the husband who loves someone else.

Milan: Half Dominican, half black, and beautifully exotic-looking, Milan is watching her has-been husband?s fortune fade fast?while her romantic attachment to Evan?s husband is heating up.

Jaise: Divorced from a former boxing star who?s now married to a white woman, Jaise is trying to raise her sixteen-year-old son on her own. Will her huge alimony checks keep her from falling in love?

Chaunci: Editor of the hottest black women?s magazine, Chaunci is now engaged to the high-powered man who helped finance her magazine when she was just a struggling single mom. But when a onetime passionate flame reignites, Chaunci may not be able to resist its charms.

When these starlets? private lives run as wild as their emotions, their relationships with one another inevitably turn into high-profile catfights. Through it all, the cameras never stop rolling on TV?s guiltiest pleasure, where power?and diamonds?are always a girl?s best friend.
