This workbook is a great companion to the two volume series. It's a really good study tool and has helped a lot.

Good Beginner's book

This is a good book for a beginner, someone who is in a diagnostic ultrasound program. It is not a good source for review for the board exam but it is perfect for a student who is starting to learn the ABCs of ultrasound.

Designed to accompany Textbook of Diagnostic Ultrasonography, 6th Edition, this workbook provides a comprehensive review of all material in the text. Activities include image identification, anatomy identification and labeling, definitions, transducer selection and manipulation exercises, sonographic techniques, positioning exercises, critical thinking exercises, and case reviews.

A variety of question formats includes short answer, multiple-choice, matching, fill-in-the-blank, and labeling, to accommodate different student learning styles.
Self-test in each chapter provides extra review of material.
Mock Registry Exam at the end of the workbook provides students with comprehensive exam written in Registry format to practice for taking the ARDMS certification exam.
