This medical dictionary is absolutely excellent! If you are entering the medical field by pursuing a career in nursing, dentristy, psychiatry, physician, pediatrician...you MUST have this book! If you are just curious about diseases and their definitions...you MUST have this book! Amazing and so valuable! I am honored to own it!

Great dictionary. I am in my first semester of nursing school and needed one for class. Gives basic definitions without using too much medical terminology and has lots of real life pictures to demonstrate several of the vocabulary words. I definetely recommend this dictionary.
