Fun Book
This book has the right amount of text. It's for babies and young toddlers, who have short attention spans.
It's short enough for her to follow to the end. The plastic
fish
at top that she play with draws her to the book.
I love the
nursery
edition.
Young Reader & Toddlers will Love this Book!
This book has everything you could want in one book for your toddler. It is colorful, whimisical and teaches counting. There are only a few words on each page, so it's great for younger readers and for those who need a short book for short attention spans.
Disappointing for Adults but Fun for Kids
Our one-year-old daughter loves this book. She likes the little
fish
on top and likes the brightly-colored fish throughout the book. However, my husband and I are disappointed by the lack of creativity ("red fish, blue fish" next page: "black fish, blue fish") and the interrupted rhyming pattern toward the middle. Also, like others have said, the ending is very abrupt, and you're left wondering where the rest of the story is.

Good, Simple Book for Early Readers
My daughter and son both look at this book and appreciate it in different ways. She is learning to read and is really looking at the words and my son is just building on his vocabulary is enjoys being read to. Good book all around.
