Moonlight on the Magic Flute is #41 of the Magic Tree House. In this book, the main characters Jack and Annie, are transported to Vienna, Austria in time of Mozart.

The part that I enjoyed the most was when Annie kept calling Jack a clown in the song she sang when they went to chase Wolfie. I also liked the part when the animals attacked.

I would recommend this book to people who like the Magic Tree House series, Mozart fans, people who like Chapter books, and anyone who likes to read.

This is the Magic Tree House book #41 and the thirteenth of the "Merlin Missions." Jack and Annie have a new mission, which is to bring happiness to millions of people by seeking out a brilliant artist, someone who uses passion and imagination to create something beautiful, and putting that artist on the right path to sharing his or her gifts with the world. When the two travel to 1762 Vienna, Austria, for a party at the Summer Palace of the Empress Maria Theresa, their magical Wand of Dianthus is changed into a "magic flute," and they meet a somewhat obnoxious little boy named "Wolfie" and his sister Nannerl.

As a student of music history, I knew immediately what was going on, but how long will it take you to find out which great artist is the object of Jack and Annie's mission?

6-year olds dream!

My 6 year old daughter loves all of the Magic Tree house series. The books on CD, read by the author, in different voices for each character, are wonderful! We anxiously await each new release. My daughter will sit for an hour, or more just listening to them and using her imagination to picture the scenes in her mind. I only wish there were more series like this one and more authors like Mary Pope Osborne. My son is almost 4, and they don't hold his attention as well yet, but I'm sure he will grow into them.

Jack and Annie head to 18th-century Austria, where they must find and help a musician by the name of Mozart. Decked out in the craziest outfits they?ve ever worn?including a wig for Jack and a giant hoopskirt for Annie!?the two siblings search an entire palace to no avail. Their hunt is further hampered by the appearance of a mischievous little boy who is determined to follow them everywhere. But when the boy lets the animals out of the palace zoo, Jack and Annie have to use the only magic at their disposal to save themselves and the naughty little fellow.
