clear and concise

This book has plenty of stretching and exercise information to follow. The pictures are excellent and the information is solid. There is only need of a few inexpensive and useful [even after baby] workout materials. Very well done.

Great book for beginners only

If you're new to stretching and exercising with weights, this is a very good book. It's easy to follow and the pictures are very helpful. However, if you have any experience at all, I would not recommend the book, it's pretty basic stuff. The information I wanted to learn about exercise and pregnancy was there, but that's all I really got out of it.

good info, wordy at times, but direct and helpful

i gave this 3 stars because of the amount of verbage at times it was wordy and hard to follow, but alot of the info is very straightforward and easy to read. I read the book thru the better part of pregnancy, and enjoyed the style of the write, she seems very genuine and not fluffy in her approach.

If you are pregnant, you need this book!

I have been an avid gym goer for most of my adult life. However, I had questions about what I could continue once I found out I was pregnant; everyone has differing opinions, and I was getting caught in the middle!

This book is highly insightful, and gives much more than just a few exercises for pregnancy. It explains how you are feeling during pregnancy, what to expect while your body changes, and why certain things are not recommended. It then goes right into how to modify your workout to continue to keep your body fit. The workout has been great for me with morning sickness and fatigue as well, since many days I cannot imagine driving that 40 min round trip to the gym! I still feel "buff", and it fits my lifestyle. I can imagine continuing this workout post baby (there is a section of postpartum exercises to get you back in shape too) as I don't anticipate much extra time in my day to take that drive once the baby comes. For all buff moms to be, this is your book!
