Great, Funny Book for all Ages
I love this book! I laugh every time I read this, even though it must be one hundred times by now.
I first discovered this book as a wonderful resource for teaching punctuation and voice to my fifth graders.
Now my grandchildren love to have it read to them.
Very Entertaining!
As a preschool teacher, I'm always looking for good books that will keep the attention of my kids. Even though this book is a little lengthy for very small children, it really keeps their attention. The kids get a kick out of the fact that a
doughnut
has an opinion whether he should be eaten or not. They also really loved the ending. I have already recommended this book to family, friends, and other teachers. Very cute!

Arnie, the Doughnut
This is one of the funniest books I've ever read to my children. It has humor in it for the parent reading it and the kid humor is really funny too. We also took a
doughnut
field trip to see how you really make doughnuts. It was a lot of fun. I just ordered 2 more copies to send to our cousins. I would highly recommended this book.

Amusing story
This is my son's new favorite book. It is quite amusing, even for adults.
Great for young and old alike
This is a silly, somewhat nonsensical book that can be enjoyed by young and old. It is one of those "grow with you" books. Ms. Keller has so many drawings and captions around the page that young readers will continue to discover new content as they improve their reading proficiency. These side cartoons also entertain the adult reading this book aloud, making it a winner for the entire family. We buy this book as a birthday present every chance we get!

At first glance,
Arnie
looks like an average
doughnut
-round, cakey, with a hole in the middle, iced and sprinkled. He was made by one of the best bakeries in town, and admittedly his sprinkles are candy-colored. Still, a doughnut is just a doughnut, right? WRONG! Not if Arnie has anything to say about it. And, for a doughnut, he sure seems to have an awful lot to say. Can Arnie change the fate of all doughnuts-or at least have a hand in his own future? Well, you'll just have to read this funny story and find out for yourself.
