Great manual, but very thick

This is quite an interesting book that deals with every mental disorder as diagnosed by the APA. It is clear and concise which helped me to learn a lot, but it also contained a TON of information that could feel overwhelming and at times repeteative. I am wondering if there would be a better way to format the book to be more effective, but am not sure. Anyway it is a must read for counselors and anyone interested in mental health. Do not use to self-diagnose or if you are susceptible to thinking that you have a lot of mental health issues. You'll drive yourself and family and friends nuts!

DSM-IV TR

Disappointed and feel duped. I paid $58 for this book advertised as being "like new." Many paragraphs and phrases were underlined in ink, which is distracting to the reader. What are key points to one person, are not necessarily key points to another. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. But, don't worry, I won't make the same mistake twice.
