A Must Read

I am a big supporter of Father Lukefahr. I have read other books written by him and taken his study course. Not only does he comphrensively teach Catholicism, but also provides a little insight to Martin Luther and where things went wrong. If are a Catholic, want to learn Catholicism, or just want a few beliefs cleared up this is an incredible book. Read it and share with your children as well. Catholics need to educate themselves in their faith.

Lukefahr is AMAZING!

Beautifully written and an easy read. This is the perfect way to introduce the Catholic faith to a non-Catholic as well as a great refresher for those of us a little rusty in referencing the Catechism. Fr. Lukefahr is amazingly brilliant in his simplicity!!! Excellent gift and a "must have" for your own Catholic library.

Clear and Informative

I'm a "spiritual but not religious" guy from a Jewish family, but my wife is Catholic, and I'm going to help her raise our children Catholic. I read this book cover to cover and will surely refer to it many times in years to come. It is VERY easy to read and understand, and yet it is filled with detail and references. I know that some of it is out of date (the info about Purgatory, for example). Also, I wouldn't have minded additional comparisons to Protestantism. But no matter - the book is great. It covers the basics and builds from there.
