Amazing book

I bought this for a friend and he loves it. Alex Grey brings into the visual realm that which cannot be seen with amazing results. An excellent foray into the visual expression of metphysical realms beyond the limited understanding of the mind.

Awesome book

The book was pretty much in the "as described" condition, although I would have rated it simply "good" instead of the higher rating the seller gave it. It arrived quickly, so that part of the transaction was perfect!

Have had since the 90s and read all the time

This book has been a favorite of mine since the mid-90s. It is absolutely beautiful. There is a lot to say about Alex's approach, but I think it is his ability that really matters. Many artists attempt to paint the multi-leveled human body. Grey does it masterfully and with a detailed touch that biology books rarely approach.

I can't say that his approach and vision of what etheric bodies look like is correct. I can't see them for myself. I can say he presents a convincing place to start contemplating my own.

Esoteric Classic

Two thumbs up. This work is an esoteric classic. No library should be without a copy. That Alex Grey's work is world-class is a given. His publishers have treated his work like the masterpiece that it is. The paper, the formatting, the typesetting, the binding - all work in concert to showcase the jewel in the crown of Alex Grey's published works. It rarely gets any better than this. P.S. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra for the hardbound version; years down the road, you'll be glad you did.

Excellent Art

This art is truly amazing and inspired. I feel it is a great purchase that will get a lot of use and excellent pictures to look at on hallucinogens.
