Great Book!

The Hobbit has a beautifully woven storyline thta isn't hard to follow. You get to know which characters are which and what role they play. This book is a grea entrance to the LOTR Trilogy. If you're buying this book, expect a good read.

Have loved this book since childhood

I first read The Hobbit in the sixth grade. I re-read it recently. I like this book better than The Lord of the Rings, and hope its made into a major motion picture. I highly recommend this for anyone who enjoys reading fantasy fiction.

A childhood favorite

Very nice old time paper type feel cover, makes a nice keepsake. Love the red sun and red dragon on the back, which had been left out in previous editions because of cost.

It took too long to get to me and there was no way to really track it
