One of my favorites

I recently read this book and am still reading it. I enjoy it because of its unique style and don't feel pressured to read the book a certain way, and because of the way it is formatted, one may skip around and read, re-read, bits and pieces. I've noticed that most of the negative comments of the book come from people who claim to have read the book in two hours, which I think is not enough time to appreciate what the author has to say. I think it's a book where you take your time, and get a chance to mull over the words.

Dahh. I love this book. I've read and re-read it and have loved it every time. I've even picked up a few extra copies at thrift store and such to pass out to friends.

Inspirational

I came across this book 17 years ago, I had purchased in a second hand University book store and I was pleasantly surprised by the notes in this book very inspirational.. I have hence purchased many copies and given them to friends as gifts to provide them with inspiration.

One mans writing dreams turned into a book, inspiring so many people.

The book contains, thoughts "notes to myself" that are touching and pondering of life's simple thoughts and curiosities of life.

I always have it close by and every once in awhile I will flip through the pages to subdue my mind.

I recommend buying several copies and giving them to individuals that touch your life.

A peek into Prather's Notes to Myself

I almost felt like I was reading someone's journal in reading, Notes to Myself. I think it's great that Hugh Prather shared with the world his thoughts on life!

I couldn't relate to all the thoughts, but some entries were "aha" moments. Like when he says, "Being myself includes taking risks with myself, taking risks on new behaviors, trying new ways of thinking and being, so I can come to know how it feels to walk hand-in-hand with myself." Well said!

Best Help

This was or is the best help book that I have ever read. Once I was in a bad mental state and i read this book in one day, it was given to me by a friend and it open my eyes to so much in life that it helped change my life from that point on. It was great, Thank you Hugh.
