The best introduction to RA. A must read.
This book has great information in an easy to understand format. It tuned me in and turned me on to traditional and alternative therapies for RA. I have purchased a copy for every friend who has come down with this life altering condition.

This book is perfect for anyone who wants to learn about
Rheumatoid

(RA). It explains, in very
good
detail, the process a person who is diagnosed with RA will go through. It explains medically what is happening; how to understand the "medical team" that you will have; what treatments exist and their most common side-effects; and coping skills. Anyone who has recently been diagnosed with RA should definitely read this book. Anyone who is supporting a person with RA would also benefit from reading this book. I would highly recommend it.

This is a
good
book if you are newly diagnosed with

. I purchased it about 4 months after my diagnosis so much of the information I had already found through other sources. There is a comprehensive discussion of the various medications used to treat rheumatoid arthritis, interesting real life perspectives from fellow patients, and a well detailed exercise section.
