Dogs love them

After recieving the reciepe book, I made some biscuts for my dogs. They love them. They prefer them over store bought treats. They are much healthier too!

My pug loves them, and they are cheaper than the healthy treats in the store.

I only made one of the recipes so far, and I couldn't believe how super easy and straightforward they were. My pug loves them, can't wait to make the other kinds. I brought some to work for my friend's dog, and she (the friend, not the dog) can't stop munching on them :D I tried one too last night to encourage my pup, and yumm! One of the reasons I looked into a cookbook was that I wanna give my dog healthy treats, but those in the pet boutique down the street are just so pricey, and I figured I can probably just make my own for way less :) It was easier than I thought, and the recipe I made and resulted in 60-70 mini bones came out to about $1. You can't beat that: making your own, knowing what's in it and knowing that your dog loves that stuff is priceless, but I don't mind the fact that it's much cheaper too!
The book has about 10-15 recipes, and comes with a bone-shaped cookie cutter too.

Fun & Easy to Make

I just finished making the Smaller Collar Diet Bones and my golden retriever *loves* them! I have a few other doggy treat cookbooks, but this one is by far the easiest. Simple and short ingredient lists (with common ingredients). It'd be very easy to substitute different ingredients if you wanted to get creative too. Dough came together in my mixer in no time. It does take awhile to cut out all the biscuits (if I'm pressed for time, I can see myself just cutting the dough into short strips and baking that way). Most of all, I really like knowing there are no "iffy" ingredients in what I'm feeding to my dog.
