Love at First Bite

Hi!We were not happy with the fact that music has been changed at one part of the movie where the two main character are dancing in the Disco. That song title is "I love the night life". It makes the movie and we were very disappointed that that was changed for some reason in this copy.
Thank you

Love at first bite

Geroge Hamiltion dose agreat job being a vampire The Movie is very funny I love to watch It often.

Buyer Beware - they took out the original I Love the Night Life song

The whole movie was ruined for me when I discovered to my horror that the DVD release of the movie has substituted the signature Alicia Bridges song "I Love the Night Life" with some other definitely non-disco song. It ruined the whole movie. As some other reviewers mentioned pretty much everywhere, this a TRAVESTY. The whole tone of the movie is lost. So BEWARE if you're looking to get back the look and feel you felt when you first saw the movie, it's all gone. It's still a good funny movie, Richard Benjamin is great and George Hamilton can't go over the top enough in his portrayal of Count Dracula. Just be forewarned, your favorite song which made the whole movie was removed.

On The Best Horror Parodies

In my opinion, amoung the many horror spoof/parodies of the 70s and 80s;there are 2 films, that really are true classics. The first,Mel Brooks&Gene Wilder's"Young Frankenstein".The second is this, hilarious spoof/parody of the"Dracula"films. The basic premise is Dracula being forced out of his Transylvania mansion, and heading to New York,to make a model his bride. With such a talented cast, this film becomes a hilariously, memorable"Fish Out Of Water" story.George Hamilton("Where The Boys Are") makes a great Dracula;very handsome, very suave, and also, very amusing.Arte Johnson("Laugh In")is laugh out loud funny,as Dracula's(bug eating) assistant,Renfield.Susan Saint James("Kate and Allie")sparkles as Cindy, the lovely model, whom Dracula is infatuated with. But in my opinion,Richard Benjamin("The Sunshine Boys")almost walks away with the picture,as Dr.Geoffrey Rosenberg,a loony psychiatrist(supposedly a relative of Dr.Van Helsing)who will stop at nothing to destroy Dracula. There's also a great supporting cast, including Dick Shawn("The Producers"),and Isabella Sanford and Sherman Hemsley(Louise and George of tv's"The Jeffersons").This movie is full of so many funny moments,it's truly the best of all vampire spoof films.I give this film 4 stars,I would have given it 5,but some of the music has been changed,"I Love The Nightlife"(which played during the disco scene, in the theatrical film)has been replaced by a generic disco tune, which really puts a damper,on a funny scene.

A Wonderful Blast from the Past

I enjoyed this movie when I first saw it a long time ago. I still enjoy watching it today. However, I am a bit disappointed in the movie company in that they changed the song during the disco dance scene where Dracula dances with Cindy. The new song just doesn't fit the dance as well as the original song.

Dracula has never been so funny and dashing - to say nothing of being an awesome disco dancer - as in this "delightful movie with a bang-up cast" (The New York Times) led by the epitome of suave, George Hamilton, and featuring first-rate performances from Susan Saint James, Richard Benjamin, Dick Shawn, Arte Johnson, Sherman Hemsley and Isabel Sanford! Evicted from Transylvania, Dracula (Hamilton) goes to New York to make Cindy (Saint James), a model with an old soul, his eternal bride. To his delight, she quickly falls for his necking style. But when her would-be boyfriend (Benjamin), a descendant of the vampire-killing Van Helsings, meets his romantic rival, he's determined to put a stake in the count's plans!
