Cool Runnings Review

Cool Runnings is a great family comedy by the Disney Corp. I was looking for a copy of it all over and couldn't find it. So i decided to look online and i found a copy of it on amazon. I ordered it and in five days i had my copy delivered. The shipping time was fantastic and the price was better than any store i went too. Which made buying at amazon a great deal and a better decision. I encourage anyone who is looking for a movie or anything else to look on amazon before going to the store.

An excellent movie, hilariously funny, and very clean

Leon Robinson (played by Derice Bannock) has lived for his dream of going to the Olympics as a sprinter, but when he is tripped during the tryouts, he feels his dream slipping away. But, lightning strikes when Leon gets a brilliant idea, form a Jamaican bobsled team, and go off to the Winter Olympics! Forming a rag-tag team of misfits, and grabbing a washed-up American bobsled gold-medalist (John Candy) as a coach, it's off to Calgary, Canada, and the 1988 Winter Olympics! But, it's going to be a very rocky road for these men from warm and sunny Jamaica, one filled with surprises!

This is an excellent movie, hilariously funny, and very clean (with just enough swearing to give it a PG rating). My whole family loves it, and we have watched it over and over again - don't you just hate spending money on a DVD and then realizing that watching it once is enough? Well, this is a great movie, one that you will not regret buying. My family and I recommend this movie to you and your family.

Based on a true story, this is the comedic saga of four Jamaican athletes going to extremes to compete as bobsled racers at the Winter Olympics. With few resources and virtually no clue about winter sports, it's an uphill course for this troupe from the tropics who are sliding on thin ice as they go for the gold in Calgary, Canada. Refusing to let anything stand in their way, these four Jamaicans enlist the help of a down-and-out ex-champion American slider named Irv. Unavoidably drawn back to a sport he had come to loathe, Irv is faced with coaching a team of complete novices. But once committed, he is determined to turn them around and to somehow right the wrongs of his own failed career. It's a bumpy ride but with pride, determination, and dignity, the bobsledders make their impossible dreams come true.
