SPECTACULAR DEAL...

Main selling point was the GREAT PRICE. Seemed too good to be true, fortunately it was not. The product works great, prints quickly & clearly. I have not yet checked network functionality and don't plan to use the feature a lot, but the price was more than reasonable enough to justify keeping the feature in my purchase selection.

This replaced my old "workhorse" apple laserwirter and I love it.

My new Macbook Pro wouldn't "talk" with my old workhorse of a printer, Apple Laserwriter 4/600, so I had to purchase a new printer. I knew I didn't want an inkjet, so I researched this Brother model. It arrived, I plugged it in and it connected seamlessly with the home network we have - two wireless computers (one mac and one pc) and another older mac connected with a cable. The only problem was on my internet server's side and after fixing that it works great every time. So far, I love it.

Great printer...

I've only had this printer a week or so. It cost $299 plus tax from Fry's.

It seems to have proper, full toner cartridges, which I like.

It's a little noisy when it's printing (although it's silent on standby), typing in wireless keys via the keypard is a bit tedious, first page from sleep is a little slow, and it's really quite a *big* printer. But those are my only gripes. So far, I love this printer.

In the past I've had a brother HL-5250DN and a HL-5270DN ... both duplex networked printers. They were great too. But this one, with color and wireless, is even better.

(You know when you buy something, and every time you use it, or even *look* at it, you're glad you bought it? Well so far, that's this printer!)

Very good printer so far!

We purchased this printer a few weeks ago, and I love it. I decided to splurge the extra $50 to get the model that would do 2-sided printing and is wireless. It is pretty quiet for a small laser printer. I also like the fact that the paper does not come out too curly, and this was a complaint people had with the smaller compact laser printers.
It took us a few tries to get the wireless features set-up, but now it works perfectly. What can I say -- it works, it's awesome, I love it!
