Great Little Laptop!

I have had my Eee PC 2G Surf for 2 weeks now including traveling time with it. Works great. Be sure to buy a good sized SD card for holding any files (docs, pics, etc) you wish to store. There's not much internal drive space left after the pre-loaded OS and apps. I keep a 4G HC SD card in the slot and have plenty of storage.

I carry a spare usb mouse. The touchpad is just a bit confining for most surfing. Just personal preference, though. Everything works great on this little thing.

My kids have dubbed it "BLT" - Barbie Lap Top.

Feels GREAT to be liberated from Microsoft.

Wow so much in such a little package

Okay, this is it, a laptop/notebook the size of a good book. Those big laptops broke my back. This little thing is great to tote around to school and work and back home.

Pluses:

Internet connectivity is easy and fast.
Love the simple games on it (I'm addicted)
Size is wonderful (who says size is everything)

Minuses:

I baught the 2Gb (probably should have gone with 4 or 8Gb but for the price it works for me. I just need to be creative in what programs I download and install. (I also baught extra 16Gb for storage and that works great for music and work stuff.)

The only thing I don't like about the keyboard is the shift key on the right hand side and backspace key are too small and I keep missing them. Otherwise the keyboard is great and easy to use. Maybe I should stop playing games and practice my keyboard skills.

Big Bang For the Buck

The Asus Eee PC is a good laptop computer. It handles everything that I use it for. However, there are certain drawback. The battery life is extremely short, it only has a 2G hard drive, there is no CD drive, and it runs on Lennox (if you are use to Windows or Apple, some variations). However, it comes with wireless internet, and while it is not the fastest connection in the world, it isn't too bad. It also is very portable because of its small size. And you can not beat the price! You actually get more for your money with this laptop than you do with Wal-mart laptops.

great for internet use

This little thing is really good for someone who wants it just for surfing the internet or anything like that. Although I would highly recommend getting one of those notebook wireless mouses or whatever because the touch pa is reallly annoying. the screen is really small too but it works. It has some problem with playing videos like from youtbe or something and i tried putting music on here in the music manager but it doesnt play very well. and i havent quite figured out how to download stuff like onto here yet...if you can?? eh. anyways overall its a very good machine.
oh, and it gets hot very fast and the battery life sucks so i wouldnt take it anywhere
and i'd leave it plugged up at all times 0.o
