I received exactly what I bought. The cords work great for syncing and charging my ipods and iphone.

I've seen where some people have had problems with the cable that they've purchased but the one I bought through SF Planet works great. It has the exact look and feel as the official Apple cable only lacking the Apple branding. The one I received may be an official one that due to appearances may not have been purchased for sale by Apple. This happens quite frequently in the retail business. I've had the cable for over a month now and it works great with my 2nd Gen iPod Touch. I'd recommend people to get it through the same seller I dealt with as I also received very prompt responses to questions I had.
