LIFE is special

Best movie I have seen in many years. This film is much more than a movie. It will remain with you as it did with me beyond watching it. I suggest this movie for all. Unlike much of what is shown throughout the "mainstream" this film dares to go where few if not any films go. That's right! It challenges you, the watcher to see responsibility, to think about life and not just life in general, but the LIFE a baby, a child and yes an unborn baby! The characters and story are so remarkable that it could be one of us and all of us. It reminds us that we are special with tough decisions to make in life and how other people affect us. This movie really moved me. I hope there are more like this to find.

What a Movie Should Be

I cannot say enough about how much I love this movie. It is a great story, beautifully written and well acted. It is so genuine and insightful in its ability to capture the human spirit and human dignity amidst the pain and suffering life can so often bring. It is funny, witty, touching and emotional. The characters and the story grab you right away. You find yourself so easily drawn in because the movie does such a great job of just describing life. And it is a good movie about goodness while leaving out all the garbage that most movies can't seem to do without. There is no sexual innuendo, bad jokes or poor taste and I don't think there's even a swear word in the whole movie. In all of this, Bella accomplishes something that most movies never do. I will not give away any of the plot as others have written about the story. I only want to encourage you to watch this movie. And do check out the special features - there is some interesting stuff there. I hope Metanoia Films makes more movies like this.

I ordered this movie because I have an adopted Italian grandmother and that is what I call her. This was a good story and I enjoyed watching it with my mama. Good story.

Excellent story, well told; no sexual overtones. Delightful, calm but exciting movie. Excellent acting; tender real-life situation. Could not be more pleased.

An international soccer star (Eduardo Verastegui) is on his way to sign a multimillion dollar contract when something happens that brings his career to an abrupt end. A beautiful waitress (Tammy Blanchard), struggling to make it in New York City, discovers something about herself that she's unprepared for.
