Great basketball product

The package arrived quickly in one piece with no damages. Amazon PRIME is perfect for this if you don't have a truck to go pickup the huge box yourself. The directions are relatively clear and concise, but it would be helpful if all the parts needed for any particular step were all packaged together, rather then mislabeled and/or in separate packages. The key to an easy installation is gather the parts that you need for that particular step (pictured/labeled on each page) FIRST. You'll save yourself a lot of headaches. And leave yourself plenty of room to put this together, as it is huge.

We found that we were missing one part; not sure if we lost it, or it was not included in the packages, so the assembly came to a halt when we were almost finished. I contacted Customer Service on a Friday afternoon, and was very pleasantly surprised at the ease that I was able to request a replacement part. It arrived a few days later, and now we're really, really enjoying our basketball net. It's well built, easy to change the height, sturdy, and looks really cool in our driveway. Thank you!

Much better than anticipated

I purchase this item after comparrison online shopping. We needed a goal for our 6 yr old to practice with and hopefully grow with. Assembly was not bad with myself & my husband, and took about 4 hours. The only thing is we will have to see how it holds up through the years.

So far so good

My son and his friends (ages 8-15) have been using this goal for about 6 months with no issues. They get pretty rough out there and so far, so good. It was easy to assemble and set up. I did a lot of research and review reading before I purchased this basketball backboard and feel I made the best decision in my price range and you can't beat free delivery to your door!!!

Impressive

I put this hoop together over a couple of days for a total of about 3.5 hours.

They do a good job of packing the small parts in labeled bags so that you can find what you need. The instructions have helpful parts lists on each page detailing the parts that will be needed for each step.

Still, it can get confusing, so give yourself some time. And have plenty of socket wrenches around.

I'm very impressed with the sturdiness of the hoop and the ease with which it can be raised and lowered.

When the snow and ice melt, I'll even get to shoot some hoops with the boys.

Time will tell

This basketball hoop was purchased for my sons sixth birthday. It took my husband about three hours to put it together with no problem. We like how the height can be adjusted with one hand and that it can be moved from one location to another with little difficulty despite the base being filled with almost 300 pounds of sand. Our only disappointment was when we discovered the material surrounding the backboard is molded plastic. The Amazon product description does not mention this detail and in person it looks cheap.
