I needed to lose about 15 pounds and lost 10 pounds in about six weeks. I also exercised everyday and watched my calorie intake, so I'm not sure if Alli contributed to my weight loss; however, I'm still dieting and exercising without Alli and so far haven't lost any more weight. So I think I'll order another supply. It also comes with a handy calorie guide which I use all the time. I would say it probably helped in my weight loss goal.

My husband has been doing alli now, for going on 3 weeks. We had read the mixed reviews, and decided to try it anyway. Now, you have to be strict with your eating, you are allowed a certain amount of fats in a day. If you go over that fat intake, then you will have the unpleasantness that others have talked about. They tell you to start your low fat diet (for 3 days) before taking the pills. alli have a great internet support, and you can find your answers there, as well as getting emails to tell you how to do things.

If you read the directions, and don't try to cut corners with this, it will work without any problems. But if you think you can go and eat at taco bell, or mc donalds, and eat whatever you want, and then take the pill, you will have problems.
