This is my first Nicholas Sparks book I have ever read. My boss asked if anyone wanted to borrow this book and I didn't even know what it was about so I did any way. I started reading and was hooked I purchased many more of his books after reading this one. I hope it will become a movie soon as well.
Good Read
I don't usually read Nicholas Sparks. But, I am on vacation in a remote area and I needed something to read. I picked this up at the grocery store and started reading. It was very good. An Iraqi Marine Veteran, Logan Thibault, finds a picture while jogging in the desert one morning. He pins it up on the bulletin board and hopes someone will claim it. Many days later he takes the picture for himself. It is the picture of a beautiful girl. From that moment one, his luck began to change. Could it be the picture? When he gets out of the Marines, he goes in search of the girl. This book was very entertaining. It is a perfect story to read on vacation. I will probably read Nicholas Sparks again in the future.
I love Nicholas Sparks' novels and when I began reading it, I thought it would be my favorite, but the ending was rushed I felt, and it fell short for me.
This is the fourth of his books that I have read. Great love story. The ending doesn't exactly "WOW" you but its good reading material.
