I definitely prefer getting waxed by a professional, but since I didn't want to spend over $100 I bought this because of the good ratings it already had. This was my first time waxing myself and it was harder than I thought. The plastic strips that the wax comes on can get slippery and it was difficult to know if the wax was at the right temperature.
