My wife and I have been using this on our wall as a message board / sometimes artistic outlet for past few months. So far, we've been satisfied with this product. It's easy to install and remove (peels off pretty well), does work well as a chalk board. It is very thin though, if you put it on a surface that is not really even and smooth, it'll show. As noted by other reviewers, it is a little small, you would likely need 2 orders (8 sheets in total) to get decent writing/drawing space.

Good Idea

These chalkboard panels are a great idea. I ordered 2 of them and received them quickly. The finish on one set is much better than the other set. The chalk would not work well on one of the sets (unless you wet the chalk a bit). The other set was fine though. All in all, I would purchase again. I have one panel on my refrigerator for all of the notes for the week and the others on the doors to a storage unit in the play area for the kids.

Good product

Overall, pretty good. It is removable, which is good. I know because the first application did not go as smoothly as I would have hoped for. Though avoided creases can be a bit difficult, and once creased can't be smoothed out. A bit of advice if you plan on using all four sheets, would be to buy extra because one of my sheets came out the box with an unsightly crease down the middle and I messed up the second sheet I placed on my fridge while trying to line it up correctly.

Wallies Peel & Stick Slate Gray Chalkboard is made of durable, self-adhesive backed vinyl that can be removed and repositioned easily. Enjoy being creative with your Peel & Stick Chalkboard. To use, simply peel the pieces off of the backing in the package and apply to any clean, smooth surface or painted dry wall. This product is not recommended for textured or rough surfaces and should not be placed on newly painted walls, which usually need about 30 days to fully cure. To remove, simply peel and reposition to another area or return it to the original backing for storage. Wallies will not harm or damage surfaces and will not leave a sticky residue.
