My magic jack is great --- quality as good as landline and so close to free. This phone comes with all the services you could want -- those that the phone company charges $6-$8 monthly for each one. What I love about the voicemail is that every voicemail generates an email and you can listen to your messages on any computer (or of course you can access it from your phone). You can go online and forward your MJ number to another number in the event of a power outage too. I just love this and with my family all over the country it's really great to talk long distance all I want to, with landline quality, free. You can't go wrong here.

No Complaints

I've been using Magic Jack for about 4 months and have had no difficulties at all with it. MJ provides you with a local phone number which is great, you get connected quickly, and the sound quality is reliably good ! I have been using Skype for years, but Skype does have its days. I use my Magic Jack phone when Skype's call quality is lacking; it's a great back-up.

Like Skype, it gives you the luxury of a different phone number if you are doing business from home, but don't want the little ones answering business calls or if you have an older relative in a different state and you want to provide her with a local phone number with which to reach you.

I really like MJ and will renew my service next year.
