Can't go wrong

Hooky songs that just beg to be sung along with. The best songs weren't released as singles. Sexy, smokey vocals over a mostly guitar-driven backdrop. Check out Heroes, Lie, Bar-Ba-Sol. Permanent is the best song on the record.

DC has a great 1st album

Great tracks and I cannot wait for his follow-up cd. My kids also love to listen to it as well.

Extended blank play time area on track 12

On track 12 of this CD that I received, the song is called A Daily Anthem, it plays OK from the beginning of the track until the time of 4:20, (where this song ends then), and the total length of time of track 12 is listed at 15:24. Then there is a long area of blank (no sound) space from 4:21 until another song starts up at the 12:00 minute mark and then this new songs plays until the end of the track at 15:24 which finishes track 12 but it's a completely different song, which I don't have a clue what it is, or what it is called. Does anyone else have this problem with this CD ???? I'm wondering if I got a defective CD and there should be another track listed inbetween these 2 songs, but all I get is like 7 1/2 minutes of blank air time in the middle of track 12.... pretty strange I would say, but I like the CD, nothing against David Cook and his music but I'm not sure why track 12 is goofed up like this.

A friend got me hooked on David Cook. His voice is absolutely incredible. You will love this CD.

David Cook Self Titled

I love this CD. David Cook sounds alot like Alex Band from the Calling so if you like his voice and that type of music this CD is for you. Since I place alot of value on the words int he song I was pleasantly surprised that his songs were true to point and not just words.
