Works great!!

I got these and another pair of scissors (made from titanium) at the same time and, to be honest, I do not see one cutting better than the other. They both cut great and were comfortable to hold and use. Also, and this is big for me, but when you opened the scissors and pushed to make a long cut, it cut pretty easily and didn't catch like some other scissors do at times.

The odd thing is, they were the same price. While these work great, I would probably consider picking up the titanium ones because I guess they are supposed to last longer. These are the pair I was talking about: Scotch Precision Ultra Edge Scissor, 8 Inch, White / Green (1458TG)

I can't attest to how this will work over time, but for the few months that I've been using it I think it has worked great!

Great Scissors!

These are quite possibly the best pair of scissors I have ever owned. I simply love them.

First of all, they have a great grip. It is easy to hold them, and the rubber on them keeps my fingers from slipping around for great control.

They cut amazingly as well. I have tried them on several different things -- different kinds of paper, cardboard, plastic packaging, fabric, etc. In every instance the scissors cut cleanly and precisely, and without a big struggle.

I love these scissors because they are very easy to hold. They are comfortable and allow great precision while cutting. The blades slice through paper and material with great ease. I use these everyday!

High quality scissors, but can't handle too much

FEEL/COMFORT

They feel very comfortable in my hand; the handles are a rubber-type material, which holds your hand tightly inside. The cut is very smooth and not too loose or too tight. There is a screw to adjust the tightness, also.

QUALITY

These look and feel like a high-quality pair of scissors.

EFFECTIVENESS

They obviously work well on any paper, but I test it on a magazine. They were able to cut up to about 14 pages easily and cleanly at once. Then I moved on to cardboard. On the Amazon.com box I had around, they would cut about half way up the blades before losing enough leverage to go any farther. I tried with my 8" DuraSharp Straight Scissors and found that most times I was able to cut the whole length of the blades with those.

On the package it says, "Best for fabric, crafts, cardstock." I understand that, but I think they should be a little more versatile.

Overall, these seem to be a high-quality, basic pair of scissors.

Great all purpose scissors

I was very happy to receive these scissors through the Vine program. They are great, all purpose scissors. I have used them for all kinds of things - from opening packages in the kitchen to trimming the "underlayment" when we were installing laminate flooring!
