Littman Stethoscope (Teardrop)

Shipping was fast. Stethoscope was real light compared to the classic Littman. Only concern with this product was the diaphragm's cover falling off (good thing I was able to find it). Does anyone have the same problem?

amazingly lightweight

being a physician and someone who is going into cardiology i would say that this product is great. it is amazingly lightweight (it really feel like a feather around your neck...so much so that sometime i have to make sure it's still there) and this is important because i hadn't realized how much strain my previous stethoscope put on my neck (perhaps i just have a weak neck). however, all this lightweightness doesn't take away from being able to hear murmurs. this stethoscope is perfect for III/VI murmus and above in all four listening areas and nice with carotids as well. i'd say if you are trying to hear those I/VI murmurs...i'd look elsewhere...or get an echo.

Lightweight and works well

This is a good lightweight scope for non cardiologists. The plastic tubing is not shiny like the other littman scopes, and the metal is dull as well. but if you dont' are about the aesthetics, its a good scope for beginning students or nurses.

Right quality

I used amazon because I could read the reviews because there are so many choices. This was the right price vs Quality and it had to be black.

Littmann is worth the name!

I bought it as a gift for my wife as her earlier steth cracked. She is very happy with it & said it is a worthy investment. Her only fault with it is that it could have been slightly longer so that it doesn't fall if she hangs it across her neck.
