OXO Good Grips 1066522 Black Steel Trash Can

I am enjoying this trash can. I can leave the lid up when I'm working in the kitchen but can then close it off when I leave. The design is sleek. You can even decorate it with magnets and pictures if you want because it's steel. I also feel like I'm emptying my trash less. It's pretty large yet uses standard large trash bags. It is just such an improvement over my last plastic garbage can. And it looks awesome with my new black appliances.

It is totally worth the money! It looks great, is easy to use, easy to clean, you don't have to see the sloppy-looking bag, etc. It really is the perfect trash can for a kitchen. And my dog can't get into it! (Smart dogs would probably figure out how to press down on the pedal and open the lid. My dog? Not so bright.)

Happy with my OXO trash can

The can arrived quickly and was as pictured. 10 gal is just right, not too small or too large. Because the item was refurbished, it had a slight dent on the side, which was described on the site as minor cosmetic damage, and which I would agree with. I might try hammering it out from the inside later. The step pedal is very responsive and opens all the way, which is really convenient when your hands are full.

This garbage can lightens my kitchen, Not only is the color beautiful, but it is very sturdy and well made, It's very worth the money. I like the insert inside for attaching the trash bag, it keeps the bag from slipping inside and spilling. I would buy it again in a heart beat.
