Fantastic mobile!!

I received this mobile off of my registry before the baby was born, and have been using it ever since, it is a wonderful part of our bed time routine and I have not had any problems with it, nothing as another reviewer mentioned it burning out or stopping to work, that is unless the batteries need to be changed. It lasts a looong time. I have several baby items at home that seem to require a battery change almost every other week! This thing I have only changed it twice since I have started to use it, and that's over 5 1/2 months now! The music and light stays on for about 20 minutes, and even when it turns off, it doesn't do that all at once, it first turns off the light, then a few minutes later it turns off the turning motion, then the music fades away, doesn't abruptly stop, so there is music then silence.

My son usually takes a bath at 8, gets dressed, eats in his dimmed room, with the mobile playing, then falls asleep to a little rocking by Mom while listening to the mobile. It also comes with a remote, so that when he was younger and really needed constant noise to keep him asleep, I could simply turn it on from his door rather then make creaky noises on his wood floored room.

Overall I love this mobile, have had no problems with it, and plan on keeping it to use with my future babies!

One of the best purchases we made for our newborn!

This mobile is awesome. The projection instantly distracts and calms crying babies, and the mobile runs long enough (about 20 minutes) to lull your little one to sleep. The music, and nature and heartbeat sounds are all wonderful. The remote control comes in very handy after you baby falls asleep and you want to turn the mobile off (I always turned it off after my daughter fell asleep to conserve the batter, which has lasted far longer than I anticipated. I have yet to change them and I've had the mobile for months). I haven't tried removing the mobile part to project the images on the ceiling, but I thought that was really cool and definitely influenced my decision to buy the mobile. It has turned out to be one of the best purchases I made for my newborn. Absolutely a God-send.

Great mobile but.....

It is a great mobile...my son loves it. However, my tv remote is on the same frequency as the mobile remote. So whenever I hit the volume button on the tv remote, the mobile goes on and off. Very frustrating. otherwise a good mobile.

Baby Entertainment

I bought this for my 4 month old niece. She seems to enjoy it and it encourages her to reach. My sister-in-law says it really entertains the baby while she is cleaning the house and the baby isn't sleeping. The baby prefers the music and it's great to have the remote control so that she can restart the music without the baby seeing her.

Very sweet mobile

This mobile is really cute. The music and nature sounds are really relaxing and the light on the canopy is great also.
We got this for our son when he was around 5 weeks old and although it definitley would grab his attention for a couple of minutes - I would not say that it put him to sleep. Now he is 11 weeks and he looks at it with a lot more interest and sometimes even "talks" to it - but again, it does not put him to sleep unless he is already really tired..
The only thing that I wish was that the animals were in bolder colors so that he would probably enjoy it more. The pastels are still a bit blurry at this age so it would have been better if they were white/black/red.
Overall a good product and will probably serve us for a long time!
