Perfect for my new MacBook

Perfect for my new MacBook. I always double the memory in my Apple MacBooks for speed and multiple apps, as well as enjoyment of DVDs, so there was no question I'd install 4MB SO-DIMMs. These Crucial memory sticks popped right in, were read on first power up, and have worked flawlessly.

works great in my early-2009 macbook

I use this in a 2.26ghz white macbook (nvidia 9400 graphics, intel core 2 duo model), and it's made multitasking a breeze in OS X. I frequently use virtualization software and like to leave iphoto and itunes running, so I was quickly running out of memory with the default 2gb the laptop ships with. It's easy to swap out the memory in this model (pop out a few screws on the bottom and voila). It might not be significantly cheaper than just ordering 4gb in the first place from Apple, but this way I have a spare 2gb set in case of computer troubleshooting emergencies.

Perfect for MBPro

Crucial Memory 4GB kit for Macbook Pro

I am a not a computer expert but I was able to install the software easily. The computer booted on the first try and the machine is much faster on photo processing. I would caution anyone taking the Macbook Pro apart that the case screws are not all the same length and it is very important to put them back in the correct spot. Excellent product and easy to use and install.
