highly recommended

Recommended, good for the price

I picked up two of these Zeikos filters. At first I was afraid I was going to get rubbish as they were really cheap. Turns out they are pretty good, a little rough when trying to put them on the kit lens ( the threads could be better) but it works fine for the money! I also purchased a Tiffen filter for another lens I have but cant see why the tiffen cost so much more.

Cheap and Effective

This filter does the job for a low price. It's great for protecting your expensive lens, and if it breaks, it's not a disaster! You should realize that you can buy a set of 3 (with a polarizer filter, and something else) from the same manufacturer on Amazon.com. I have that set for a different lens size, and it's lots of fun, too.

Doesn't work with MT-24EX Twin Lite flash

I bought this filter for my new MPE-65 macro lens, and it screwed on without a problem (in contrast to the experience of others who have reviewed this filter). However, I found that it's impossible to attach the MT-24EX Twin Lite flash on top of this filter, making it useless to me (since the lens can't really be used without a flash). If you have a different 58mm lens, this might be a fine filter to use.

Cheap but works!

Bought it for the price not the quality, didn't expect much since mainly use it to protect lens, it fits perfectly on my kit lens, but I found a paint came off right after I opened the package which shipped by Amazon, don't know if it happened during the shipping or just the painting issue, well, for the price it worth every penny though!
