enjoyed it but it did lack plenty

it was an interesting plot, but not a real page turner for the most part

Get over it, people. What did you expect? The book was a Harlequin, and it was free! The story was mildly interesting, although there was more sex than action - never a good idea for story purposes. Hauf built the beginnings of an interesting World, but there wasn't enough fleshing-out to give it substance. I enjoyed what there was, but not enough to want to go looking for more titles, even though Hauf left enough strings dangling to interest readers in pursuing what happens next. I just wasn't invested enough in the characters to care.

A Good Book from a Great Series

I got this book for free from Kindle and ended up buying most of the series. I couldn't put them down. I especially liked the "Moon" books by this author. A must read of paranormal romance fans.
