Excellent Buy!

Pros: Well built, no issues with at least an XBox at 1080p, sound came through clearly.

Cons: None that I can name.

Notes:
I bought this for my sister, who was moving out and planning on watching TV and movies through her netbook onto a larger screen.

Poking around Best buy and Fry's and such, I couldn't find a single cable for less than ~$40. I poked around Amazon a bit, and I found a few offers for a bit less than this one, but once I noticed the comments from people at MediaBridge offering a replacement (free!) to people complaining about the cable, my curiosity piqued. I checked out their site, and the lifetime warranty is listed right there. As such, I bought this thing right away.

It didn't disappoint. The construction quality is excellent and feels like it definitely would last a lifetime. The $15 that this wound up being after shipping was well worth it--especially considering that this was still substantially less than anything from a retailer.

If you're looking for a quality HDMI cable that offers guaranteed 1080p throughput at a low price, then this is definitely for you!

Works fine - high quality HD picture to my TV

I can no imagine what you would get from the store cables that are four times the price.

High quality and reasonable price...

I purchased several of the Mediabridge HDMI cables in 3', 6' and 12' lengths for my recent home theater project. Spending $100 for those "other" cables at my local big box store seemed ludicrous, and I needed a reasonably priced alternative, without giving up quality. These cables delivered that and more.

My TV is a 55" Samsung LED (non 3D), and the video quality of my AVATAR Blu Ray DVD was breathtaking in 1080P via HDMI. My Pioneer AV receiver also upconverts standard DVD's to 1080P, and even those look exceptional. I could not believe how fantastic my DVD of "Bonnie & Clyde" looked...I was blown away. So, despite the claims of video improvements that 99% of people will never see, and the other 1% will only claim to see, there is no need to spend upwards of $40 for a quality HDMI cable. And, the lifetime guarantee only sweetens the deal. Build quality is robust, and unless one is just exceptionally affluent and looking for a place to spend their money, I see no reason to waste it on premium brand names.

It's a cable

It's a cable and it works. After researching which hdmi cables to buy, I found that there was no need to spend big $$$ on cables such as Monster. I used it to connect our PS3 to our new Vizio VF552XVT, and watching a 1080p source was incredible. Whether that's just the TV or the combination of the TV/cable, I can't tell, put it certainly confirmed that you don't need to spend a lot on an hdmi cable.
