Great CQ tactical sight
While this is not the top-of-the-line brand name it works just as well and costs several hund

$ less.
A friend has taken his through Iraq and Afghanistan and it served perfectly. That convinced me to purchase this sight. I have't roughed mine up that much but it does not have to be babied. Mine is on an AR in 6.8SPC. No blurring, bright recticle, no probems.
Looked Nice on my gun but.....
Upon reading all the reviews for this scope it sounded like it was the sure solution for a good starter
red
dot
for my ar15. It looked really good on my gun when i first got it installed and the T illuminated reticule looks great with the 2 different color settings.(day-red dusk-
green
) BUT, now here is where the scope started to give me problems. I took it out to the range and fired a few rounds through it. On my 4th shot however, the reticule went out completely. I assumed it was just the battery cap on the side was loose. So i took the cap off, inspected the battery and put it back on, tightening it securely with a screwdriver. I shot 3 more shots and again my T sight would flicker and sometimes go completely out. My other issue with this scope which really is to be expected if you look at the price, but just to warn others. This scope is NOT parallax corrected. This means that when you put your head against your stock and look down your scope your T sight will not always be dead center unless you rest your head in the EXACT position every time. If you look down the scope you can move your head and your T sight will move with you. This can be an issue when you are taking quick shots at a target because your head might not rest in the same spot every time you pull up, thus making the T sight move around. I could still use my front sights on my ar15 since the T sight seemed to sit perfectly between my front sight, but really if i find myself using my front sight through a blank tube why waste the money?

Excellent for the money
I placed this on a Rock River 5.56. I also have a Eotech. While I think the Eotech is more sturdy, I am more of a fan of the T shaped site picture on the
Bushnell
, especially for precision shooting. It allows for either a
green
or
red
site, which is usefull for low-lite. Most importantly, the scope has consistant grouping. I am a huge fan of the Eotech, especially since you can add a magnifier, but honestly this scope does the same job at nearly a 300 dollar savings.

Rugged and Ergonomic
Bought this for my S&W AR-22. It mounted perfectly and functions flawlessly. It took only five rounds to get sighted in and from that point on it has remained right on. The turret adjustments work very well with a positive clicks. I own several AR's with Leupolds and EOTECH sights, this
Bushnell
is right up there with functionality and ruggedness. The
red
reticle was excellent even on a very bright sunny day. The little S&W is now near the top of the list as my favorite, a big part because of this sight. Do not hesitate to purchase this sight, you will not be disappointed!
