Great Value for the Performance...

I just finished building my first rig, and this was a perfect addition to my new $3500 system. This 4GB kit of 1600Mhz PC3-12800 is probably the best value for the performance out of any DDR3 RAM out there right now.

Looks and feels like a quality item right out of the packaging. The heat spreader on each stick is a really shiney silver & they feel extremely solid (pictures don't do them justice). I couldn't wait to pop these babies into the slots on my evga 790i Ultra motherboard. According to most forums and review boards, it is a good idea to update your BIOS.

I only had one issue with this product which was when I was installing windows vista ultimate 64-bit (you need a 64-bit operating system if you are going to be using more than 2GB of ram). Vista Ultimate wouldn't install properly using 4GB of ram during the installation. So, if you have this same problem just take one of them out, install vista, then go online and install sp1 and any other updates you can find. Then turn off your system and install the second stick of RAM and restart.

If you are on the fence with this decision go ahead and jump. I did EXTENSIVE research on this one & I was extremely happy with the end result. Running blazing fast @ 7-7-7-20. I was going to go ahead and put 2 more GB's in for a total of 6, but I don't think I will ever max out these 4 even using vista ultimate which is a big time hog...
