well worth the price

Bought this as a gift for my son and he is thrilled with the reception he now gets on his old TV.

when analog t.v. no longer worked i bought this antenna, now my t.v doesn"t freeze like it used to so it was worth buying this antenna.

really helps

without this, i get 2 stations poorly. with this, probably 10 stations well. I have cable, but have this on tv in guest room without cable hookup. takes 5-10 minutes to orient and set channels, then you are set.

Great indoor antenna

I checked multiple reviews all over the internet for the best over-the-air antenna for my area, which was this antenna. Luckily I'm in a great area for getting 40 OTA channels well, all coming from the same direction. This worked great out of the box. I didn't just look on [...], but also many other sites.

I figured that most of the shows I watch are on the network channels, which come in great with the antenna, HD and all. I can get most of the rest of what I want to watch, like Netflix and lots of other TV, from my laptop. If I have to give up Food Network, so be it. Just trying to find out how best to get more sports for my husband.

My new TV has a TV guide explaining what stations were on what channels. I set my favorites out of those. Great.

Not for everyone!

Please be advised that OTA tv is not for everyone.

I live in Gainesville, FL and thought that the Terk could help me save on my cable (cox) bill. After setting it up, and letting my TV do the "Auto tune", The channels that I could effectively watch were:

PBS (slightly grainy.. analog?)
CBS-4
ABC
CW-11
Fox (needed turning of antenna)

Now, TV is a big part of my entertainment and I found that this was just not satisfying enough for me (Yeah.. life without TBS and Comedy Central is a little too bleak :-)). Also, I spent a substantial amount on my 42 inch flatscreen TV and the OTA lineup was really not doing justice to my investment - I returned the product.
