Great CD

I really enjoy the old west. Cowboys for Jesus is not Country music, nor is it southern gospel. It is exactly what it says... cowboys. This is the kind of music you would expect to hear in an old Roy Rogers movie. Good wholesome music that is fun to listen and sing along.

Glad to find this on CD, had the vinyl years ago and loved it. Remaster is good, but you know how your brain remembers all the little sounds on vinyl? Of course they are missing, but you still want to hear them somehow. Anyway, it's great to hear all the old favourites again.

He loved it!

I recently purchased "Cool Water" by the original Sons of the Pioneer's for a friends birthday gift. He had requested a CD by them. He stayed up for 3 hours beyond his normal bedtime listening to it and takes it in the car with him when he goes out. A happy birthday gift for sure and a great CD.

A guilty pleasure

When I was a kid my neighbor would let me listen to The Sons on their record player and I still remember loving the sounds of their tight harmonies. This is a well done CD with most of their best songs and with most of the original group. I have really been enjoying this since I got it though I am getting some strange looks from my daughter. I told her that its hard to explain but I still love the songs and the harmony.
