The boys on the Satellite of Love are treated to a low point in '70s sexploitation in a low-cut, cleavage-inspired rip-off of Charlie's Angels. "So these were the Carter years?" inquires Mike Nelson as he views a team of bouffant-haired vixens in jumpsuits storming a drug compound. "Well, I do sense a malaise here," responds robot Tom Servo. Angels Revenge inspires the castaways to recall a nonstop list of long-forgotten B-list '70s movies and television shows, including The A-Team, Sanford and Son, James at 15, The Bad News Bears, and Fantasy Island. It also inspires Crow to write his own blaxploitation screenplay. The dull action sequences and uninspired plot is barely shadowed by the obvious reason Angels was made: "All right, I'm just giving in and looking at the breasts!" quips Crow. Even that appeal wears off as the movie spirals into haplessness. "I'd rather spend a weekend in Robert Bork's underpants than watch another minute of this," he later complains. Mike agrees: "This is offending one-celled animals." We can thank MST3K for dredging up this cinematic dreck, only made endurable by Mike, Tom Servo, and Crow's hilarious running commentary. --Tod Nelson
