Great tea Tumbler
I have a
Thermos
Tea
Tumbler
I use at work. I bought this one for travel. It works great as a travel mug just as expected. It also makes a great "cup" of tea.
I'm Feelin' Hot Hot Hot
This
tumbler
keeps my beverages hotter longer than any other tumbler I've used EVER. I poured coffee into the tumbler at 6am. Once I arrived at the office I left the tumbler at my desk and went off to a couple of meetings. I didn't get back to my coffee until 10:45am. I figured the coffee would be lukewarm so I took a big swig. The coffee immediately scalded the inside of my mouth. (Yes, it hurt badly but I was excited about the product at the same time). I removed the lid and noticed the coffee was still s
tea
ming! UNBELIEVABLE heat retention. Great product, great price. I'm getting one for my spouse too. Of course, I'll give her the "caution: contents may be hot" speech first. :-)

Wonderful product, worth the price
Absolutely great product. Keeps temp perfect. I have not used
infuser
, but as a travel mug absolutely perfect. I needed it to keep coffee /
tea
worm for about an hours in a car during winter, worked great.

Great product, but not EXACTLY what I'd hoped for...
Saying that this thing retains the heat of its contents is a huge understatement. I brewed some hot
tea
and filled the
thermos
up to the Max line, then left the house with it for a long day in class. 2 hours later, I went to sip it, and it burned my tongue! It barely lost any heat! The double-walled vacuum design is excellent and prevents almost all heat from escaping. Except for about an inch at the top where it does get warm, if one were to run one's hands up and down the rest of it he wouldn't even know it contained hot liquid.
Now, however, for the gripe. I purchased this thing for the purpose of being able to brew tea on the go so that I could have fresh tea later in the day instead of pre-steeped tea. Upon examining the included wire mesh attachment, it quickly became apparent to me that this simply wouldn't be possible with some of my loose teas; the mesh is not fine enough, which would result in leaves falling into the thermos and leaving me with a mouth full of tea leaves, not to mention bitter tea. I should have paid attention to the other reviews, many of which already discuss this design flaw. Had I been more attentive to this shortcoming and known ahead of time that I would be pre-brewing, I would have bought a larger thermos with a mouth piece instead. Don't get me wrong--this thermos is absolutely incredible--but it wasn't what I PERSONALLY had hoped for.

A couple of specific usability design flaws, otherwise great
I'd rate this a 3.5, rounded up. I can't speak to the
tea
strainer because I seem to have lost it. Anyway, if you're after a "handle-less
steel
vacuum-insulated travel mug with lid," this generally fits the bill.
This is a great little insulated travel
tumbler
at just the right capacity for me, and normally I'm inclined to like
Thermos
Nissan
products, but there are a couple design issues as I've used it over the years.
1) It's hard to thread. There are two tops (without the
infuser
), and the lower one you drink from does not seem to *naturally* thread on straight. I have to place my tumbler on a level table and eye it carefully while I screw on the bottom drinking cap to make sure it's level. This is extremely important to avoid any spillage.
2) The lid grip is thin and hard to remove. Once you screw on both the drinking top and the lid tightly, this tumbler won't leak (two silicone rings). But the lid has a thin grip, and if both are screwed on tightly enough, there's a good chance you'll screw off both the drinking top AND the lid at the same time. You have to hold the bottom drinking top while unscrewing the lid to make sure that doesn't happen.
Those are two rather important usability issues I've noted. Otherwise, this does keep things hot/cold and is snazzy enough to use at the office.
