Quality Tricycle

This tricycle is built like they used to build them. It is all metal and sturdy. This thing will last for years. We got this for our 3 year old last Christmas and he has enjoyed riding it. It may be just a tad bit large for the regular 2 year old but I cannot recommend this enough. It is a great toy and the price is awesome!

wonderful trike

Bought this for my 3 year old because he needed to learn how to pedal. The trike was extremely easy to put together and feels very solid. For 50 bucks it was a great deal

Decent bike for the $$

The handle bars keep coming loose, making it hard to steer. But, overall it's a great bike, and I'm sure it will last through several kids!

A very good tricycle

This tricycle is definitely the reason my kids want to go outside lately. Outside, yes. I don't allow black rubber tires on my floors. Earlier reviewers mentioned loose packaging. I got this trike undamaged and well packed, so Radio Flyer appears to have listened. It doesn't look like a contemporary kid's toy. It looks like something I might have ridden as a small child many years ago. Maybe it is sneaky of me, but I found it convenient that the place they print "Made In China" is on the annoying safety decal where they say you have to wear a helmet and various other things I didn't bother to read. The decal is top center on the main tube. It peels off reasonably easily without damaging the paint, and a little odorless mineral spirits (paint thinner, charcoal lighter) takes off the residual glue.

Great second trike

We started out our son with the Fisher price Rock-n-roll trike when he was 2 yrs. old. He received this Radio Flyer trike for his baptism but it's sat in a box for a while. Now he's almost 4 and have brought out the "big boy" trike to encourage the learning to pedal. It's much easier to steer and pedal and he's now tall enough to manage it. He LOVES it and learned to pedal right away! His center of gravity is higher now and it's more fun to ride than the FP plastic one. And now his little 18 month old sister has the FP trike to herself. The bell, tassles, and look are so retro, it feels well made and looks so cute. The only issue is the steering handles loosten a bit but Daddy keeps tightening it and recalls having to do that with is trike years ago.
