I'd give it 5 stars if the assembly instructions made sense.

The stand is now under my Sprunger Tilting Arbor saw. If you know of Sprunger, they went out in the 50s or 60s, you know these tools are heavy. With the stand under my saw it is easy to roll around even on carpet. The levers used to engage the steerable wheels are foot pressed and released, and beefy enough to stand usage over time. Some reviewers knocked them as being made of plastic but we all know there are all sorts of plastics and grades, and these are good quality. As a side note should they break, which is unlikely, they are easy to replace. There is one bolt that holds them in place. Now the negative - the directions. I suggest you ignore them. On the bench assemble the four corners as per the picture in the manual and the picture on the box. Orient the levels facing in so they won't be a tripping hazard in the shop. Measure the base of your tool. Ignore the manual suggesting you add 1" in each dimension. Spot on or a 1/4" or so over in each dimension works better. There are 4 long and 4 short rails. I acheived the required dimensions using only the 4 long rails so the extra bolts were installed too since there are plenty of holes to do so. I kept the short rails taped to a piece of the box so they won't become one of those "what are these for" parts that get thrown out and someday "did I throw those out" parts. All-in-all I'm happy with this base. BTW the Amazon ad lists both 400 and 500 pound capcity. The box shows 500.

Great mobile base

I purchased one of these to replace the shop-built base on my contractor's saw. The instructions are mostly useless, but it's simple enough you can assemble it just based on the drawings. If you're the least bit mechanically-inclined, you can figure it out. Once assembled, it works like a champ. It feels solid, it's easy to lift onto the wheels, and it rolls around great, even on my uneven garage floor. I've already ordered 2 more for my jointer and band saw.

Excellent value and well built

I purchased one of these from my local Rockler store ($55 with current discount). I am usually pretty wary of products that come in cheap looking packaging and as a mechanical engineer I am pretty picky. As soon as I got this out of the box I was impressed with the sturdy frame material and overall construction. Took about 10 mins to put together, had someone help me lift my Jointer onto it and I was done. For the money this is a great product and I plan to buy 2 more this weekend.
If I was to change anything I would probably want slotted holes all around (just the long rails have these) and it would allow for a slightly better fit to the base although the fit is already pretty good.

Mobile Base

I bought this base for an older Craftsman table saw. The base seems to work well. It was easy to assemble. The only minor negative is the threads on the wheels could be 1" longer. The lack of the extra height lets everything move when ripping 4'x8' stock. Price was reasonable.

Excellent customer service

I had bought this product about 3 years ago for my table saw and
I had a problem with one of the parts. I emailed the company on
what it would cost to replace the part.
Without a question they sent me the part free of charge.

Totally adjustable mobile shop base lets you move your tools without being locked into a fixed size! Expands from 12in. x 12in. to a 36in. x 36in. square or a 20in. x 52in. rectangle, or anything in between. Four-wheel design. Limited lifetime warranty. Load Capacity (lbs.): 500, Adjustable, Rollers (qty.): 4
