Most Beautiful Lullaby Collection!!!!
This is the most beautiful
lullaby
collection I've ever heard. The lullabies are soothing, very mellow and gauranteed to put your little one to sleep. The collection seems very timeless, sentimental and evokes a sense of peacefulness that just floors you.
When you hear "Isn't She Lovely", "Brahms lullaby," "All the Pretty Horses," you will fall in love with this cd. If you are an 80's fan or jazz/new age music you will love this collection.
Every parent should own a copy of this collection. You can't go wrong with this one!

Best Music for Sleep
This CD is my favorite music for my baby girl's naps and bedtime! The project is so professionally and excellently mastered, that even adults will love this music. There are some cheesy
lullaby
CD's out there, but this is not one of them. One thing I really like is that there is very little singing and much more relaxing instrumentation. While we love great singing, I've found that voices are distracting sometimes for good sleep, and my baby girl falls asleep more easily with just the pretty instruments playing. It's a truly beautiful collection of some of the sweetest lullabies and tender songs out there! Buy it for you and for your friends having babies! :)

Works for our little fuss-budget
Our son is now 6 months old. We got the CD when he was about 4 months. He would be dead tired but would find it difficult to drift off to sleep, usually ending up crying, fussy and cranky. We started playing the album right before nap times and bed time, and I believe it actually helps him relax and soothes him to sleep. When he wakes up in the middle of the night, or the middle of a nap and starts to fuss a little, if the music is still on, he quietens down and goes right back to sleep. I love the music and would definitely recommend this as part of any child's sleepytime routine.

Music to drool by
If you have a newborn or a little one and you like new age music, this will certainly enhance your intimate hours. The music moves at a slow, confident pace and is quite lovely at times. I don't see why this collection should be limited only to Dads.
Beautiful Bedtime music
I searched hard to find a CD with beautiful, soft music to play at bedtime for my daughters that didn't sound like kids music. This CD is it! I love this CD. I once heard one of the tracks in a mall, and I instantly thought of my girls.
This is a real sleeper of an album, literally. Smooth-jazz musicians--including Peter White, Dave Koz, Norman Brown, David Benoit, and others--play music here to put babies to sleep. Fans of New Age music, specifically what came out of the Pacific Northwest in the '80s, may find many of these 14 tracks reminiscent of that period. Long-time listeners of smooth-jazz radio may be reminded of the kind of ethereal, spacey music that was played in the early days of the format. Many of the songs are as obvious as Brian Culbertson's somnambulating "Brahms'
Lullaby
" and Koz's "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star," but some are inspired choices with creative arrangements and strong performances. Koz and his brother Jeff shine on the Beatles' title tune and the other Lennon/McCartney chestnut, "Blackbird." Brown's take on James Taylor's "You Can Close Your Eyes" is also moving, while not straying from the stillness of the concept. Perhaps the standout track is the superb performance of vocalist John Stoddart on Stevie Wonder's "Isn't She Lovely." --Mark Ruffin
