My husband had an HP which is a few years old and is running Windows XP. The computer only came with 128MB of memory, and it was so slow. He would wait forever for pages to download and it took ages for programs to launch.

So, I finally purchased 2 of these 512MB memory modules to get him up to 1GB RAM (the max possible for this particular machine). What a difference it made! It's like a new computer.

These installed very clickly - snapped right in. Very easy to do.

Another plus - the packaging. Unlike some other brands, these come in a 2-piece package, you just have to break the paper label to open it. No messing around with scissors or knives, or struggling with a clamshell package. There are also instructions included.

We had a very positive experience with this product & I strongly recommend it.

I bought this memory for a Dell Deminsion 4500. Well worth the purchase. I only had 256K of RAM and when I put the two 512K memory modules in my computer, it was like having a new computer. Boot-up and shutdown is faster, opening software is faster...everything is faster. Trust me, if you need to upgrade your memory for your computer, get this now.

Received incorrect memory sticks

I sent 2 emails to the company that I purchased this memory from, never received any response, I asked for SDR and received DDR which doesn't fit in the desktop. I asked for an exchange and heard nothing, not a happy camper here!!

Worked Fine

The memory worked just as it should. No problems here.

I do however wish I would have purchased the 1 GB version instead since it did not seem to have the effect on the machine I had hoped. But that's not an issue with the product.
