Perfect!!

As a college student specializing in digtal photography, I know what I'm talking about. This paper is absolutely wonderful for printing REAL photo quality pictures. As long as you have a good printer, a color cartridge, and are sure to make the necessary adjustments in your print settings, you will never back to those cheaper poor-quality photo papers!!!!

Absolute BEST photo paper I've used

I am an aspiring/amatuer photographer who prints my own photos at home. I took one of my prints to a frame shop before my last art show that I had entered and the man who was framing the photo asked me what type of paper I used, which wasn't the Ilford paper. He then pointed out the spots and small uneven spots in the image that I had never noticed before. He recommended the Ilford Galerie Smooth Peral Injet Photo Paper and I bought some that day.

I printed out the same image using four different types of paper and the Ilford print was by far the most professional and clear image free of imperfections. I was sold!!! If you print your own images at home, just try it and see if you can tell the difference. I LOVE IT!

Excellent low-cost premium paper

I printed B&W and color prints from Photoshop CS3 on a Mac OS 10.4 using an Epson R800 pigment ink printer, using both the Epson ("Semi Gloss") and Ilford profiles. I didn't see any difference in the prints, but it's always a good idea to try the profiles provided by the paper manufacturer. I also used the printer's gloss optimiser to reduce bronzing; it also adds a nice finish to the print. I was impressed with the print quality; very similar to Epson's more expensive Semi-Matt paper. I sometimes find the colors on matt paper too pastel, and don't always want a gloss finish, so this paper is a nice alternative. I plan to continue using the paper. This photo paper is a substantial weight with a beautiful, pearl finish. Pictures look like professional quality. I am not a professional but I am an avid scrapbooker and like my pictures to be of high quality. I print in various and unusual sizes.
