Polk Atriums are very nice

I have a pool with a screened porch and have purchased 10 speakers. I placed them every 20 feet around the perimeter and inside the screened porch. The highs and mid range is very nice and put out a pleasant sound. In addition, I have a subwoofer running as well and so I'm very pleased....so are my neighbors; For the money you cant beat them. I plan on bringing the speakers in during the winter (obviously) and hope they will last many years.

Terrific buy

These speakers were exactly what I had hoped for. In fact, they are a bit more than I needed for my backyard patio. The bass response is so pronounced that it rattles the siding of the overhang under which I mounted them, so I turn the bass down lower than I normally would. I purchased these at an amazingly low price - I think they retailed for close to $300 and I only paid $82, I think because they are discontinued. If you can get them for the lower price, don't hesitate. They are well worth it. Easy to install, versatile - you can mount them horizontally or vertically, and they will swivel once mounted. Great sound, easy installation, great price.

Atrium 45

These are excellent speakers although I wish I had bought the 55s due to large back yard.

Great and dependable speakers.

The number one plus for me; these speakers have been sitting on my deck, rain, shine, snow for 3 years and still working great.

-Great sound
-Decent looks. Simple style so it is easy to match with many landscape.
-Reasonable price. Outdoor speakers are generally expensive
-Easy installation
-Yoke is adjustable to direct the speakers at some angles

Tip: I think it will be a good idea to weatherproof the contacts of the speaker wires to the speaker connections with something like a silicon sealant. The connections got a little corroded due to the elements and I have to cut the tip of the wires to expose the new copper and reconnect.
